ABOUT MARGARET

Let me tell you that it isn’t easy to talk about myself! I would rather talk about any other topic under the sun and I’m sure that a lot of you feel the same way. But if you want to become a client or visit my website regularly then you need to get to know me – so here goes!

I’m 44 years old and married to Tony. Our home is on the beautiful Isle of Man which lies between England and Ireland. The scenery is fantastic, the people are great and the way of life is just so wonderful. It just so happens that it rains a lot and sometimes I wonder why Summer has bypassed us yet again!

After spending some years in Germany attending school and working as an Administrator, I moved back to England. I decided to attend a Secretarial College and I passed all my secretarial exams with flying colours. I was so proud to have achieved something worthwhile. Later in life I studied for professional qualifications and gained some really worthwhile and valuable business experience over the years.

What I do now? I left the corporate world at the end of last year for a variety of reasons. After 3 months of ruminating and soul searching I came across CoachU and signed up for their Coach Training course to train as a professional coach. I realised at that point, that I had been Coaching for a long time in my professional life and I loved it.

I now work 2 days a week for a very large retail outlet as HR Manager which I love because they are really forward thinking and believe in the concept of performance coaching. My spare time is taken up with developing my coaching practice and my website.

My professional qualifications are:

Member of the Chartered Institute of Management
Licentiate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development
Certificate in Managing Development and Change (Open University)
The Professional Certificate in Management (Open University)
